Stratovarius - New era

Cuando mi amigo flyfree me informo de este album sin voiceovers y que está todo cantado por el Kotipleto, ademas de donde lo bajo decia que la gente de Kotipelto libero el disco para que nos dieramos cuenta de que era disco de Stratovarius y no el proyecto de Tolkki y salieron muchas cuestiones como:

- ¿Que chingados es eso?
- ¿Nos estan tomando el pelo?
- ¿Será que era puro pedo eso de que se separan?
- Misma historia que Caifanes-Jaguares (Mexico) que se desintegra la banda para evolucionar en lo mismo jeje
- ¿como en un corto lapso de tiempo (primer comunicado-hoy) ya tenga un disco armado cuando en Stratovarius tardaba mas tiempo?

Ante la incertidumbre me puse a buscar y no tarde mucho en encontrar dos comunicados el "strato-statement" y la respuesta de Timo Tolkki donde cada quien da su version de los hechos, la verdad es que si este iba a ser el album de despedida que tanto menciona Tolkki en su primer comunicado donde tacha de mercenarios musicales a Timo Kotipelto y a Jörg Michael, pues esta mucho mejor que su ultima producción.

Con razon sonaba tanto a Stratovarius el "original" Revolution Renaissance, ciertamente es el estilo de Tolkki pero se nota el respaldo de Kotipelto, Johansson, Porra y Michael.

Tampoco es por decir que suena mal pero tambien es interesante escuchar el Revolution Renaissance con las voces de Tobias Samet, Michael Kiske y Pasi Rantanen

Es el décimo cuarto álbum y editado el 10 de de 2007 por Epitaph Records. Con este disco la banda celebra el 25º aniversario de su primer lanzamiento, How Could Hell Be Any Worse?. Jay Bentley asegura que "no es un disco político. Es más bien una declaración sobre ser independiente. Escogimos el título en una tienda de discos donde nos estaban haciendo una sesión de fotos. En uno de los discos había una canción que se llamaba así (se refiere a uno de los temas del álbum “Fanfare”, de Mocket, la banda de punk futurista de Olympia) y a Brian Baker se le ocurrió que era un buen título para el disco."

En 2008 sale esta re-edición con bonus tracks

Divinefire - Farewell

Divienfire, banda Finlandesa/sueca, ya que fue formada en 2004 por el baterista/guitarrista Jani Stefanovic (finlandia) y por el vocalista sueco de la banda Narnia Christian Rivel, invitaron un bajista y han sido la base de esta banda que ellos clasifican como Christian Symphonic Power Metal.

Bastante interesantes sus discos, mezclan power metal con voces guturales y toques death, pero con muchos coros melodicos y letras que se hacen dificil acoplar a este estilo de musica. Este es su cuarto disco y por alguna razón hay poca información al respecto. En su pagina oficial sigue estando como su pagina de incio el disco pasado y solo en noticias hay un aviso de que este trabajo será el ultimo que graben, sin dar ninguna razón. Su myspace no dice nada, y en ningun lado he podido encontrar info de que pasa con la banda.

A mi parecer este ultimo trabajo no es el mejor, considero creo que el primero es el mejor, pero todos me gustan.

Divinefire - Into a new dimension

Pues como ya subí el mas reciente trabajo para complacer a los que gustan de este genero de power metal con tintes death metal melodico y sinfonico, pues les dejo este material, su penultimo, del año 2006. Muy buen trabajo a mi gusto, la neta me llenan mucho los discos de esta banda, me dejan satisfecho al escucharlo enterito.

Divinefire - Hero

Segundo material de esta banda, donde facilmente en la portada se ve de que estamos hablando, con el titulo del disco y la portada te da una idea clara de las letras del disco, pero no se vayan con la finta! es bastante interesante musicalmente hablando.

Además, se avientan un excelente cover de Queen y la rola The Show must go on, con dos vocalistas invitados un hombre y una mujer, creo que los 2 de suecia.
